Andrew J. Abernathey
Chairman & CEO
Inspired by Warren Buffet’s value-investing approach, Andrew Abernathey launched the firm’s first investment partnership in 2012. Since then, AH has achieved ongoing success and the efficiencies created will continue to prosper for years to come.
Prior to the founding of Abernathey Holdings, Andrew and his brother took over the Abernathey Family Farm, an open-market grain producer, which he continues to own with his brother.

Charles Arnold
Controller
Charles is a CPA/Assistant Controller for Church’s Chicken and has served on the board of directors of the National Security Group, Inc since 2017. He has worked in private industry accounting and finance for the last 17 years in various industries with experience in financial reporting and project management.

Matthew D. Halvorson
President, Board Member
Matt graduated from the University of North Dakota’s business school and began his career in life insurance and financial services while investing in single-family rentals. After building and selling both a financial services and an employee benefits practice, he shifted his focus to real estate, acquiring apartments and commercial properties. His vision aligned with Abernathey Holdings, where he reinvested his capital, first serving as Vice President before being named President. Now based in Scottsdale, Matt plays a key role in the company’s growth and oversees its primary developments in the Phoenix metro area.

John D. Stewart
Senior Advisor
Since 1992, John has been the President of the Glacial Holdings group of companies, which are engaged in multi-family residential and commercial real estate and property management. He has served on the board of several public and private firms and nonprofit organizations, including Bank of North Dakota and Oppen Family Guidance Institute (a private foundation that provides services to youth).

William McManus
Board Member
With 37 plus years in the financial world, William brings a wealth of knowledge to Abernathey Holdings; first with American Express as financial advisor, trainer and Director of Business Operations in the Washington-Baltimore area; and now serves on several other national and international Boards.

Todd Moore
Board Member
Todd has over 35 years of hands-on experience in hospitality development, management & ownership, while at the same time successfully “fixed and flipped” dozens of projects. As a third generation entrepreneur, Todd’s father passed down their family mission statement: To provide superior customer service and high-quality products, treat your employees and customers with respect, and practice sustainability whenever possible.

Dan Gibson
Board Member
Dan has been investing in real estate for 12 years as the CEO of his St. Louis commercial real estate investment firm with more than $50 million in assets under management, specializing in the storage and mobile home park asset classes. He is very passionate about the company’s core values of positivity, honesty, flexibility and value.

Brady Nash
Board Member
Brady Nash’s expertise has helped drive industry performance in recruiting and deploying high-performing teams resulting in consistent execution across multiple businesses. He brings a network of industry experts and executives to the table to identify opportunities, raise funds, and support sustainable growth.
Nash is the co-founder of BNG Team and ConnectBooster, nationally recognized Inc 5000 firms that provide FinTech products and B2B services to thousands of companies in all 50 states as well as internationally. Since selling his firm in 2021, he has formed Nash Capital, which has been instrumental in bringing dozens of new business ventures to market.
